Mine looks just like the foto. However, the shaft does not fit the Hitec Eclipse. The stock ant hole is about 2mm greater in diameter. So it is not a drop/slide in fit.
The connector is cheap flashed with gold. It protrudes so much that lying down the TX causes it to rest on the right angle connector. There is no difference from the stock ASSAN module ant in terms of protection.
Let me know how you mount your outboard ant on an Eclipse...

My hk 6 cannel works with the same cable I used on my hk 4 cannel radio but only 4 cannels work.4 cannels is good enough for a beginner like me that only fly airplanes but for helicopters may need more cannels. It was about $10 on ebay The 6 channel program cable will not work or maybe it will with software from the above post have not looked into it yet
