Help please! E sky and Windows 7 (64 bit) error

I just installed this to my windows 7 machine and I am getting an application error. it reads:

Exception EComPort in module in FMS.exe at 0008B728. Registry error (win error code: 2).

How can I fix this? I bought this off of ebay with a controller and I feel like this can be fixed easily.

If you search for ecomport you will find several posts with solutions.

FMS requires that windows see a COMx serial port on your computer, either real, USB or virtual.

Many use a virtual and free COM port called VSPE.
