helo's - what's what

Using a gamepad with two analog sticks what are the proper settings for a helo ? tail, nick, roll(got that one) and pitch, I'm trying to put in the proper mapping for these control surfaces but I don't know where tey belong on the gamepad......any input would be appreciated, thanks
