How realistic is FMS?

I am about to purchase my first radio controlled trainer aircraft... and thought I'd try a simulator to try to get to grips with flying the thing before attempting it for real.

I have picked up flying with FMS fairly quickly... but how lifelike is it? Am I going to find flying my real aircraft very different to this?

i would have to say in general it is quite realistic, although turbulance and win conditions obviously play a part in the real world.

but as far as the flight models go, its not too bad at all.
put it this way, a few hours on fms gives u a #### of a lot more chance of surviving that initial flight rather than going in with zero experience.

so to answer your question i would say that the flight models are perhaps a little on the easy side.
