Help! Problems running FMS on Pentium II Win2000

Hi,

I downloaded FMS beta 7 today to run on my Pentium II machine, but it comes up with an error when I try to run the application!

It displays the following message-

FMS.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log has been created.

The machine is a freebie (they threw it out with the rubbish!) but a goodie! I'm new to PC's, being a Mac user.

It has the following specification-

PII 450mhz

ATI rage 3D pro AGP 2X (GT-C2U2) graphics card which has 8MB of ram.

128MB of system RAM.

7GB of hard disk space

Windows 2000 installed

I also downloaded and installed dirextX9.0 from the microsoft website.

Any ideas as to what my problem might be- the program installed without any difficulty!
