Need help setting up controls

I just bought the ninja 450. I have looked on the forum to see if i can find a thread that would help me but i havnt found one. Im just not sure how to set up the controls. I plug what i think is the rcver into the usb drive and go into the program like it shows, so that i can calibrate my controls that are used to fly the helicopter. In the program it shows the person entering numbers for the controls and checking boxes, but these numbers dont work. I was thinking they might be universal, but i guess not. Im wondering if anyone can tell me the numbers i need to enter. As you can probably tell im new to the rc world, so any help is appreciated. Thank you
