fms simulator

can anyone help me I purchased the 0905A FMS simulator with with the E-sky software, I am running xp pro media center, my system sees the 0905A but the software does not, it gives me a choice of com ports whick does not seem to be compatible, I'm using USB input.when I go to the fms software it sees two other joy sticks I have but not the 0905A which I want to use to train before I buy an actual RC helo with the same box.
