flying a helicopter in FMS - I need help setting them up

I am new to FMS, although I used an older version before, which had a strange glitch involving the plane always having left rudder on.

Anyways, now I have 8.5 Alpha, and I have flown the planes and set the control keys for them, but I can't figure out how to set up the helicopter controls.

What controls do I set to be able to fly the helicopter? I am not familiar with helicopter terminology, but I do know a bit about planes. What do pitch more/less, up/down, nick and tail do? The main problem I am having is that I cannot make the helicopter lift off of the ground; what control must I use for this?

For helis, you need to duplicate the settings used for planes under Mapping/Calibration.



Tail = Rudder - turn tail left/right
Nick = Elevator - bank heli to left/right
Roll = Ailerons - bank heli forward/backwards
Pitch = Throttle/main blade pitch - heli goes up/down

Duplicate the second four settings from the first four. If the first four are 4321, the second four should be 4321, so reading from top to bottom, you should have 43214321.
