FMS stutters with new graphic card

I had absolutely no problems with FMS until I changed the graphic card to:
ATI Radeon X1600 PRO
Since there FMS "stutters" when flying. Despite FPS is 200, most of the time in the 300 range.
FMS and the driver are latest version.
I tried any combination of controls in the "Graphic" of FMS. No help.
The other simulator, AFPD (Aerofly Professional Deluxe) has no problems at all.
Is there a possibility to adjust anything in the ATI Control Center?
If not I have to say good beye to FMS! Awful sorry!

Check-out your screen res 16 or 32 >Then check fms's screen res 16 or 32

and play around with the screen size > 480-600>600-800>1024-796> ect

thank you. But with these parameters i fiddled around before.
Now just by chance I found the solution:
in the ATI Information Center there is -> Display Options ->3D Refresh Rate Override -> set to "Disabled" by default.
I set it to "Same as Desktop" and FMS works as before.
