Serial/Parallel Port not available

Hi,
after installing, I have neither the serial nor the parallel port available under Controls --> Analog Control although my computer does have both and they show up as working in the system contol. Does it have something to do with the XP-OS? Before, I used WIN ME on this computer and it worked just fine with the same hardware.

Yep. You cannot use the old serial or parallel interfaces directly with Win XP. Microsoft took the facility out of the OS.

Try PPJoy that should create a virtual joystick, or smartpropo plus on the audio input.
