Hi,
my FMS doesn't recognize my graphic card nVidia Riva TNT2 correctly. In graphic cards list appears the "primary adapter" only and simulator runs very slowly with non-smoothed textures. Is there the way how to repair this problem, please?
When I turn the textures off, the application works well but it looks not so good. Thanks to anybody who'll answer me.

Hi David,
"primary adapter" is ok, because it is a system-synonym for your Riva TNT2.
I've no experiences with a TNT2 in combination with FMS but i think it is probably a bit slow for FMS. What is the processor speed on you machine?

Thanks for your answer. My PC is Pentium III/533 MHz, 512 MB RAM, Windows98SE and another one flight simulator is working correctly as well as aome other games (Harry Potter). Do you know the possible reason of my trouble?

Hmmm, no Hardware T & L on the TNT cards!
That's what is needed for the textures to work, I believe.
Your processor will do the business, but I would strongly advise the purchase of a better graphics card- Geforce or higher.
My Pentium II 450MHZ machine originally had an ATI Rage pro 8MB card in it. That suffered from the same problem as your TNT.
When I put a Geforce 2MX 32MB card in, FMS was transformed.
25-60FPS at 1024x760 resolution and 16 bit colour with 2x antialiasing.
I now run a Geforce 2 Titanium 64MB card, with a few FPS advantage at 1280x1024(cost me nix from a friend who works in IT) FMS is now processor limited.
Geforce 2MX cards can be picked up very cheaply these days (£10-20 S/H, £20-30 brand new).
So start saving your pocket money!
