I have installed Beta 7 and have an AMD Athon XP2400, 2.01GHz, 512 MB ram. I cannot get any models on the sim, although occasionally I can get sounds. I can see the landscape but that is all.

It doesn't help the fact that I am a top Multiplex retailer and still can't get it to work! :-)

I also have Bet 7 installed on a fairly high spec computer with exactly the same problem

You don't mention the OS or graphics card you're using. Upgrade you're graphics drivers and make sure the latest DirectX is installed for starters. Also try version 8.2, it'll run both beta7 and alpha8 models after reducing the thermal & bubble settings a bit. If you have an ATI video card, try turning off True Alpha under the video settings.
