landscape problems - version 8.3

I just installed version 8.3 and have problems with the trees in the standard landscapes.

I'm using windows XP.

Some of the trees have black edges around them - what can I do to fix this ?


(Also are aircraft made for previous versions of FMS also useable with 8.3 ?)

Check true-alpha on within the FMS program under graphics and the black edges may disappear. If not, upgrade your video drivers, some features were not until recently supported.

All models fly within alpha 8.3. Those with alpha 8 .par files respond to the wind and taxi directions on the ground.
