FMS crashes when no COM port present

On computers, which do not have a serial port, FMS crashed on startup:

Exception EComPort in module FMS.exe at 0008AFEC
Registry error (win error code 2).

You can simulate this on 2000/XP by:
- Disable all COM ports in the device manager
- Reboot Windows
- Run FMS

Minidump is available if needed.

Hi Marius,
I'm a french user of fms and I have the same problem.
portable computer windows xp familiale sp2 without serial port, just 4 USB and one parallel port.
I use my TX with the audio input with SmartPropo and it works very well without any problems.
So,the 2.7 version works perfectly, but when I install the 2.85 version it doesn't!
this message appears:

Exception EcomPort in module fms.exe at 0008AFEC
Registry error ( win error code: 2)
