Problems with WIN XP

I installed FMS and it ran great for about 3 minutes, then a blue screen popped up and said "hardware failure" it only does this once in a while. i am running a AMD 1600 'OC' to bout 1.54Ghz and a Gforce4 graphic chip. I know its not the overclock because even going back to default i get this blue screen. it is very sometimey and getting to be annoying.

Anyone else experienced this problem and do u have a way i can correct it? thanks.
