Win XP problem!! - Cannot play

I just downloaded the most recent version. And I have Win XP....After I install it, I try to open it and it gives me some error message. Anyway it wont open. Then I set the compatibility to Win98/ME, still, same error and cannot run this program. If anyone has ANY clues, PLZ lol help me!! Thanx

I just looked at the FAQ, and it addresses my problem. Here is what it says.

FMS 2.0 Beta 7: Windows XP: Error message "Error while getting proc address for flat thunks"

This is, because on XP you have set the option "...run as Windows 9x..." for the FMS. This way Windows XP tells the FMS, that it is a Windows 95/98/Me compatible system, what is wrong. When the FMS tries to loads the 16-bit interface driver, it fails.

Solution: Remove this option "...run as Windows 9x..." for the FMS.


What does this mean, what do I have to do?????
