Futaba TX won't calibrate with XP

Using an older PC running with Windows 98 and a Futaba TX with a serial adapter I had no problems. With the new PC running XP Home Edition the TX will not calibrate. The programs runs OK with the key board or with a joystick. Any ideas what is wrong? I need help!!!

If it's the old style serial adapter (i.e. not a PIC serial) they simply don't work with XP.

You might get it to work if you use a (free) program called PPJoy. Do a search, it's been discussed here a lot.

Thanks for the response. The adapter is the old version. Is there a schematic for the PIC adapter?

Yes. Look in FMS/Doc/Interface on your hard disc .
