FMS Awards! - Encouraging design on a global scale...

Just an idea...

There seems to be so many good designers of both models and landscapes from all over the world now it seems a little competition may be in order.

Be it monthly or yearly it might be cool if designers could submit their best model in various categories (glider, power, heli, abstract etc.) and FMS users could download and vote for the winners.

I don't reckon you'd need to offer prizes, the kudos would be enough!

Good idea!

On they have something in that direction: you can download many models and you can rate them. But it is not an explicit competition...

Yeah, I've got a couple of my planes on there at the moment.

I just thought a bit more of a directed 'awards ceremony' might be fun and encourage people to have a go.
(Although, seeing your designs, I think you may already have it in the bag.)!
