I guess I agree. As an RC pilot you always need some kind of reference point so every now and then you need to glance down to see where you are...
On approach to landing you would have a look at the landing area and glance back up at the plane to get some kind of idea where the plane is and what tradjectory you would use to get down.
Maybe this is as easy as a Mouse Look feature (like Quake and UT) although in many cases its hard to take your hands off the controls for even a split second...
Obviously head mounted sensors would probably work but not practical.
Any ideas welcome here... ???
