PPM and FMS 2.0 Alpha 7.5.1 on XP - PPM interface not selectable

I just tried the latest version of FMS, 2.0 Alpha 7.5.1 since it sais the PPM interface should work on XP.

I want to try the parallel interface, but I can't configure the settings, the buttons to go the settings dialog is kept disabled.

I do have a soundblster cart, but this is no longer an issue since FMS version 2.0?

What should I do ???!!!

I suspect that the basic serial and parallel interfaces are not supported in XP as they are not supported in Win 2000.

That leaves you with a choice of Keyboard, Joystick, or PIC.

The PIC is a newer form of the serial interface that needs a special microprocessor based interface cable.

That being said I believe they are avalible for around ฤ.00 ษ.00 US Dollars.
