I have a sanwa vg400 with a 5 not 6 pin buddy plug. Please can anyone help me with the pinout details.

I've never seen one but is it perhaps the same pinout as the 5-pin on the RD6000 ? See

Yes it is the same as the RD6000. See my website for transmitter connections.

You can use a 5 pin DIN plug as well, as the centre pin is not used.

Note that you must use a 270 degree plug, not 180 degree.
