I have tried twice now to make the parallel port interface based on the following: . I get into the program, and it says there is signa, but no response from the radio at all. If i press the trainer button it says no signal, so I know the connection is there. what else could it be? Thanks in advance.

Look for the IRQ sharing of the IRQ you've assigned to the parallel port. Usually, the culprit is SoundBlaster sound card--disable IRQ sharing in the card's properties in Device Manager.

Thanks. It works great now after turning off the irq sharing through my soundblaster.
