Futaba Skyport T4YF interface - Tx will not work on Parallel port ..did

I made a Cable and using the 2N2222 Transistor posted on web sites. I have had the cable working with my TX 4YF on Win ME, PC 1 Ghz then for some reason quit working. I found nothing BIOs that was recommended to change for setting the printer Port.

I have an oscilloscope and multimeter. Is it possible the TRansistor may have failed.. What voltage or signal can I look for from the Trainer port. I get a some what of a square wave with sharp peaks on leading edges. Allso when I move any of the TX sticks the wave form changes. I have not DC voltage on the signal pin, however the AC siignal appears to be about 5 volts or so.. Also could something on the PC side have failed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
