Interupt Sharing Crashes Computer - Interup Sharing

Hey, can anybody give me a bit of knowledge into why my computer crashes every time I try to dissable Interupt Sharing in the SB Live Emulation Settings??
It says that it has to resart my computer but then it just freezes and I can't even get it to boot up again unless I go into Safe Mode and re-enable Interupt sharing.
Mabey my LPT port in on different BIOS Setiings??
How do I check to make sure that they are like this;
IRQ 7, I/O 378, ECP or EPP??

......in most cases this can be done by entering your BIOS settings. usually it reqires pressing DELETE repeatdly while the p'ter is booting up.

what OS r u using?

I am using WinME,
I don't know why it crashes...it says that the computer has to restart, then it strarts to install SB Live Emulation, but then crashes???
I will check my BIOS Settings then
