Serial Interface for Sanwa VG600

I have made a cable for a Sanwa VG600. I have read that you must set the signal to inverted, can this be done on the radio control or must it done through electronics?

I have also read this but have not found it necessary with the 2 transistor interface circuit or my PIC/USB alternatives.

As afar as I am aware the original Sanwa used an inverted signal on their receivers, however the RD6000 allows the user to switch the signal to be compatiable with other makes of receivers.

Most pic interfacse do not require the signal to be changed they look for the change in pulse state for their timing sequence.
