Interface for JR10X with Win XP

I wish to use my JR10X with FMS. I tried the interface published in the manual but this would not calibrate the TX, does anyone have a fix?

The simple serial or parallel interfaces does not work with WinXP. You will need a Serial PIC Interface, Joystick Interface or USB Joystick interface to get FMS going under WinXP.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
