I currently have an airtronics vanguard radio and i am looking for a schematic for an interface cable?
is the airtronics vanguard similar to the sanwa vanguard?

Same thing I believe. Airtronics equipment is sold as Sanwa in much of the world outside the US.

Futaba cables work well with Airtronics, just the connector wiring is different. Look at the bottom picturew here:
