Airtronics VG-400

I am a newbie at this....I have an Airtronics VG-400 xmitter and am waiting for my cable to arrive(I bought it from Matt Clemons)I am running Win98 on a drive....Is this all I am going to need to fly the FMS program?

Apart from downloading the software , thay should be it.
