Hello,

i just wanted to install my MC12 (with Student Plug) on FMS 2.0 b6 with a serial cable I buyed from ebay /Germany known as aerobird.

FMS does not find my Tx.

Is there a possibility to check if the Interface is working correctly?

Can you help me?

Beemeeup,
What type of Trainer plug does your TX have?
If it's 6-pin round DIN (as most Futaba transmitters have), then the problem may be in a different ground wire -- central pin instead of the connector body (or vice versa). Try connecting the central pin with the connector body (large metal thingie around the pins) using a thin copper wite. Then plug your cable on top of it.
