Calibration Problem in 8.5 alpha

I am using serial inteface...COM1, Win98, P4 2.4Ghz, 9600 brate. Tx is Microstar2000 (www.mstar2k.com)

It calibrates and works fine in FMS 2 beta 7.

in 8.5 alpha when i try to calibrate...moving the stick up the bar goes up to top...while moving down the bar reaches end and then jumps up to top....throttle works ok...but during flying i have to advance the throttle a little (10%) and initialize the model to get going...otherwise there is no responce. Any body have similar problem/solution.
