Skysport 4, witch Adapter?

hallo everybody

i'd like to buy a futaba skysport 4. is it possible, to connect to the computer (FMS)? my favorite shop has the following adapters. witch adapter do i have to use? (sorry, but i'm a newbie :laugh:)

-Adapter Futaba/Hitec 6-pin DIN
-Adapter Futaba FF-9/FF-7 6-pin rechteck
-Adapter Futaba 2,5mm. Stecker
-Adapter Multiplex
-Adapter Graupner Stereo
-JR Mono
-Adapter Sanwa
-Adapter Futaba 3,5mm. Stecker

Futaba have made a number of different Txs with the name Skysport 4. If you mean the latest 4YF I think it uses the same rectangular (rechteck) connector as the FF9/FF7, so the second adapter. Earlier Skysports used the 6-pin, first adapter. Best to buy the Tx and then buy the adapter when you know exactly what you have.

BTW you have to be careful because not all adapters will work with every computer operating system.

but how can i connect to the computer? plug into the microphon line-in?

That isn't any type of FMS interface adaptor I've ever seen. It might be a cable which plugs into the real interface for something like Reflex/RealFlight. Where did you get it and what exactly was it described as ?

are you sure? here's , for a self made FMS adapter cable. in another forum, they told me, it works.

so i tryed to find out, what kind of plug my skysport 4 use. it's a 6pin DIN, round plug. so i think it should work with this cable?

what kind of adapter do you think should i use?? *confused*

OK that cable might work with a sound card and Smartpropo. I've heard of that but I've never tried it.

i've just ordered the skysport 4 and the "Adapter Futaba/Hitec 6-pin DIN". we will see if it works or not.. i'll tell you...

otherwise i have to create my "own" cable to connect to the gameport...

ok, the cable was the false one. so i made a right cable by myself with the 10K Ohm resistor and with the right plugs (6pin-din and klinke stereo, like the picture above). now i can control FMS through the microphon-in on the sound-card. and it works EXCELLENT !!!!!
