RC - PC interface - would like to help

Hi everyone, i'm French.

I discover FMS 2 weeks ago and, since i'm running Win2k, i cannot use my MC16/20 RC, that's why i would like to design a interface to plug every RC on joystick port, but i'w still hesitating if i will do a simple cable between RC and joystick port or if i will developp an USB cable with drivers and everything ...

try the sound card interface its the cheapest to build.

I am too using the jostick interface from rcdesign and it allmost allways works. I've had some problems with glitches and not booting computers with the interface connected.

If you really want to design a interface, i would like to suggest to design a rc-to-usbjoystick interface. This would solve a lot of problems that accur with the conversion of the pwm trainer signal to the resistor values.

If you are still considering which interface to use, take sanjay's advice and use your sound card as the interface. It couldn't be cheaper, and works a treat. All its going to cost you is a buddy-box lead.
