Sound-adapter with Multiplex ?

Hi all

Has anybody tried the sound adapter with their Multiplex Cockpit transmitter ?

Is it possible, and how did you connect the cable ?

Hi,
I have the cockpit MM V2 it works fine with the FMS audio interface - I added the interface to the serial one I built prior to finding the audio interface online (which is much simpler)
from memory take the ground and signal lines to the right audio in / line in on your sound card, across the signal and ground is a 10k resistor - thats about it - look at the plans for here for the correct signal pins:-


5&3 joined (to turn off the RF transmitter circuit in the cockpit) - Ground
pin 4 - Signal

5&3 Joined - 10K Resistor - Pin 4. cable to 3.5mm audio jack.
thats about it.

I set my line in volume to about 10% - you can use any good audio recording software to see the waveform and adjust the level for clipping. - I just set it to about 10% and started FMS after copying the .dll to the right place and it worked just great!!!

Now I wish the X-Plane supported that interface....

I've made the cable per your instructions - and it works

Only problem is that it seems there's a lot of "noise" on the cable - when calibrating the bars are not stable, they move up and down where rapidly !! When flying a model the plane is not stable in flight, it keeps rolling left/right !!!

Could I have done something wrong with the resistor ??
