Hitec Prisma 7 interface

Hi,

I'm new in R/C simulation however I make R/C for some years. I buyed a long time ago a Hitec Prisma 7 and it does have any buddy socket.

I'd like to connect my tx or rx to the PC in order to fly and teach my friends (my wife included) to with wonderfull simulator that is FMS.

Do I have any solution ?
I'we listen of some ways to connect the receiver, something like RCFSpic however the package was from 1996 (a bit old). Does it work ? Is there any better solution ?

Hi,

I received your message in the FMS forum and visited your homepage. However I didn't found any information about a possibility of connect the receiver instead of the transmitter nor about how could I get the right signals in the hitec prisma 7 transmitter (it doesn't have any buddy connector). Do you have any information about this ?

As far as I know, one can not use the receiver to obtain the required PPM signal.

If the transmitter does not have a buddy socket, you can search for it inside the transmitter with the aid of a scope. Unless you are familiar with electronics and know what the PPM pulse looks like, I will not suggest this option.

Maybe someone else can assist with this, as I have never had a Hytec Prism 7 to play with.
