Futaba FP-T5FG USB Connect Not Working - USB Connection

I recently purchased a USB connection for my Futaba T5FG controller and I can not get the remote to work with FMS. Under the device controller it shows that I am installed under COM4 and everything is working correctly, but under the diagnostics nothing registers. I have installed all of the USB software, but I am at a loss for what I need to do now.

Which USB connector, there are lots of different ones ? The ones I've seen all show up as joysticks/game controllers and need to be calibrated in Windows before trying FMS.

Also FMS will only use the first game controller on the list so if you have any others installed try moving this one to the top of the list.

I have the U1 USB controller that I got from Tom's off of Ebay. I have tried the calibration program, but it still does not seem to register on the screen afterwards. I will keep on trying to run the callibration program, but any further suggestions would be helpful.

If you have calibrated it in FMS and all the blue bars move correctly and you have set up the channels on the LH side (top 4 for planes, bottom 4 for helis) and it still doesn't work I'm lost, sorry.
