How to connect E-Sky (Honey Bee or Twister Heli)

With the use of a scope, I have just figured out how to connect the supplied controller from a Honey Bee (aka Twister) Heli to FMS. All you need is the FutabaPPM download from the SmartPropo soundcard interface, an SVHS plug, 2 wire audio cable and a mono Microphone plug.

You will also need the FutabaPPM download form the SmartPropo website (free)

You connect the outside of the svhs plug to the earth signal of the audio cable.

Next if you look at the back of the controller, you will want to connect the positive (signal) wire of the audio cable to the pin on the left top.

Now wire the mono plug to the other end of the cable, install the SmartPropo software, and follow the instructions. It is best to turn off any sound enhancemant (like noise reduction) on the microphone line of your soundcard, adjust the mic volume and voila...you are in business.

Did this tonight, cost me about $1.75 and about 10 minutes and works a treat.
