What's Best - 9600, 19200 baud or Joystick

Postby Eric Brouwer » Mon Jul 15, 2002 10:05 am

Can anyone please help me with my following questions:

1 - What is the advantages/disadvantages using 19200 versus 9600 baud on the interface

2 - What is the average update rate of the interfaces?

3 - Must one make provision for more than 4 channels on the Serial interface, as FMS only uses the first four.

4 - What is best, Serial or Joystick? I find serial more stable.

Please feel free to send me an email with answers/comments.

The project can be viewed on my web page. Just click on the 'Home Page' button below. I will also assist with other serial protocols on other simulators. :D
