Hello there.
I have bought a radiocontrol called Simtransmitter, connects through the serial port (rs232). It works fine with the FMS simulator. But it don´t work with any other simulator. How can I use it as a regular joystick? I Can´t find it in the joysticksetup in WinXP.
I´m a newbie in this stuff.

The transitter is a serial port interface, and will only work with FMS. As it does not connect to the gameport, Windows will not detect it as a joystick.
You can Google for a program called PPJoy, which can be used to convert the serial interface data to a virtual joystick. Full setup instructions are included in the PPJoy installation.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
