futaba 4nbf FM question

i have an older futaba 4nbf FM, and just found this cool simulator. is there anyway to connect it to my pc?

i looked through the manual, but i don't have ppm on my radio

can anyone help?

Your radio is PPM. In Futaba-speak FM and PPM mean the same. If it has a buddy socket you're ready to go.

I too have a Conquest FP-T4NBF. It will not work with my interface cable. As I read the FP-T4NBF manual it say "fast response PCM system". Nothing is said about it being a PPM system which I understand is necessary to be if it is to be used with FMS. I was also told it will not work with my GWS micro receiver because GWS needs a PPM system. It looks like I am SOL until I get a new transmitter. Any suggestions out there?

I also have a Futaba FP-T4NBF transmitter, and I just bought a USB to Futaba cable on EBay. The seller is named Ricardo, his member name is "r_electronic". He lives in Madrid, Spain. My cable cost $37 plus $8 shipping, and works fine! Be sure to ask for the round Futaba plug, not the square one - he'll ask you anyway.

Check out Smartpropoplus. This free program, and a simple cable linked to your audio card, will do the job for peanuts. It will cope with both PPM and Futaba PCM.
