PCM - joystick interface

Hi,

is there any joystick/game port interface that will take PCM signal from my JR radio controller?

It seems like that all the ones I've found are for PPM only.

I've tried SmartPropo with PCM, and it works perfect with FMS but nothing else. I am looking at using my radio controller for MS Flight Simulator and perhaps Flight Gear in linux.

I guess you can't just switch your Tx into PPM mode then ? Interesting, I didn't know there were any made that only operate in PCM mode. What model is it ?

I have a JR X3810 , there is no problem switching a model configuration to PPM and use it for simulation. However, since I can use PCM with SmartPropo, I am just wondering that if there is an adaptor out there that supports PCM.

I think you're stuck with PPM. PCM is harder to decode and you'd need to code a different version for each manufacturer (sometimes 2 versions with 1024 and 512) so I don't think anyone has bothered.
