Help-JR388 with XP Office. Calibration Probs - Upper 1/2 Callibration jumpy

When I try to calibrate JR388 Tx with FMS using Windows XP Office the controls work fine in the lower 1/2 of the range but when any of the four controls move into the upper half the blue calibration indicater starts jumping up and down VERY FAST, like flutter. When applied to model, example, left rudder works fine but right rudder flutters - zero to 1/2 throttle fine, but over 1/2 and engine sound goes from steady note to "blipping" sound. Same problem with elevator etc. Ideas??

Note that the output from the JR sets is around 1.2v peak compared with most others at 3 to 5v. Which interafce are you using?
