Just wanted to let everyone know that the Saitek P2500 Rumble Force game pad works well with FMS and XP.
Not having a radio with a trainer plug, I had to resort to other options. This seems to work. The P2500 is available at walmart for about $29. Though it isn't a real transmitter box, it is much better (if not more accurate) than using the keyboard controls.
Basically, all I had to do was install the drivers for the P2500, then in FMS choose the "JoyStick interface" option under the "analog control" drop-down menu. You can then map-out your controller with the "mapping/calibrate" option.
I've seen several posts on the board about finding a game controller than would allow 4-channel function (and actually work), so I thought I would report my success.
Happy Flying (or crashing)!
