I've tried twice to install the latest version of FMS on a brand new Vista Home Premium system and each time I tried to run FMS Vista reports files to run the app are missing.
Isn't it time for the developers to work on a Vista version? Vista is 9 months old already.
How about a version of FMS compatible with Win Vista???

It seems that there probably won't be any or much more work on FMS. Though for compatibility with games/everything XP is a much better choice then downgrading to Vista.
I think http://crrcsim.sourceforge.net/ is the best bet as this FMS project seems dead.

FMS does run on Vista. You didn't happen to mention what file(s) were missing but look here http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/f ... php?t=4338

Vista is hardly a downgrade from XP. Vista is 100% secure which XP is not and Vista is in two versions true 64-bit which even Mac OS X ISN'T even after 2-1/2 years with a 64-bit architecture! (some Mac superiority! Ha!)
Vista is Elegant, faster, easier to use that XP, and most XP games will run in Vista native or at least in XP emulation mode.
