rc calibration - canot find the correct rc calibration!

i have problems calibrating the esky rc with fms any ideas.

my computer (WIN 98, sis display card and the rc is connected to COM1) gets the signal from my rc but i cant figure out which channel is connected to which stick on the rc,
when i calibrate more then 2 bars move and when the stick returns to the middle
the bars do not return to the center position.
any ideas? may be i am missing a setup property or a driver missing.

On the left side of the calibrating window, there is a list of the functions and which channel they are assigned to. Make sure you have them assigned right and don't have two channels assigned to the same function.

There are four functions ; throttle, elevator, aileron, rudder. If you happen to have two of them assigned to the same channel, it will cause the model to respond to both of them. Say you happen to have the rudder and throttle on the same channel. Every time you throttle up, the model will also turn with the rudder. Could make for an interesting flying experience.

Also when you calibrate, make sure the trims, if you are using a TX box, are centered.

Gee, I just noticed that this thread is quite old, maybe they got it fixed.
