Windows 2000 detects the Saitek P880 fine and testing is just fine in gaming device. Other games detect Saitek and work fine. But FMS could not see the joystick.

The Saitek works fine with FMS installed on my daughter's Win 98 machine.

What could go wrong and how to solve the problem ?

have you got any other joysticks installed on your windows 2k?

what is shown in FMS (joystick resources)? That there is no joystick at all on your system?

Hi Michael,

In FMS resources, I see a few bars that are not moving when I move the sticks. When I go to calibrate, moving the sticks does not make the bars move.

Are there more than one joystick installed under Control Panel/Gaming Options? If so, set the "Controller ID" of the device you want to use with FMS to 1. This might solve your problem.

The controller ID is 1 and is the only one on the PC.

FMS seems to detect it in "Calibrate" when I move and hold the stick at one position for a while, then the bar move.
