Just completed a re-skin and modification of a P-51 to look like the ParkZone version. This P-51 is a AET 3-channel plane without landing gear that is hand launched.

The ParkZone P-51D RTF/ARF airplane is an awesome
ready-to-fly scale looking airplane. It comes with an
included transmitter, battery, charger and all equipment
to get the plane into the air on the day you buy it.

Beware though, this is not a beginner's airplane. It'll tip
stall right out of the sky at less than 75% power and becomes
very twitchy when slowed down. Hand launching is also a
problem as the model will torque to the left under full power
and plow into the ground.
I started with Jim Flint's E2S8 Metasequoia .mqo 3D model
and modified the 3D model to more closely approximate
ParkZone's version, then modified the image map .bmp file
to look like "Ferocious Frank" and finally created the
electric 3-channel .par file for the model.
If there are any ParkZone P-51D owners out there, please
try the model with FMS and let me know how it flies compared
to the real thing.
