countering prop torque

Alright. I thought I would go ahead and create a new topic from my other one, to be more specific.

Working with the same Slow Stick model, we normally use 3 degree down and 3 degree right correction to counter-act the stock prop torque. In FMS, these numbers don't seem to help. I've given up to 20 down and 20 right with very little impact. Is there a way to bypass this torque effect without massive degrees of corrective action? I've seen some planes fly perfectly straight and can't figure out how they're able to do so (most models are pre-version . It's not big deal for any experienced flyer, but the Slow Stick I'm modeling from real life doesn't have any torque problems at all, so I want to get it the same in FMS.

Try changing the moment of inertia for the MOTOR to a lower setting that works like 0.0002.

High numbers for MOTOR inertia are 0.0008.

Too much higher and the MOTOR doesn't turn.

Also, you can add a second motor in the .par file with the same exact settings with a LEFT rotation instead of a RIGHT rotation. This will counter the torque completely. You'll probably want to reduce the motor power too though or the sim will fly too fast.
