Trouble ideling down

I downloaded a 3d model and if i have the throttle closed completely the engine cuts just like in real life but if i move the throttle up 1 noch the plane starts moving at a fairly fast speed is there a way of adjusting this so i get a more smoother response

If the throttle seems less responsive, try reducing the moment of the motor in the MOTOR section of the .par file.

i done that but all it down was make my plane go slower when i bput full throttle :(

Did you try checking the [Exp] exponential box on the throttle in the analog control, calibration screen. It might do what you want. Little movements, little change, big movements, big change.
