Any Models I Download Do Not Work

Have download a number of models (e.g. PF Cessna 182, CAP 222, CAP 232, Magister, Parkzone J3, PZ P51-D) and all they do is sit on the runway. None of the controls seem to work (using an ArtTech 4 Channel transmitter), including keyboard commands (e.g. tried hand launching the PZ P51-D).

All stock models that came with the sim work fine.

I am using FMS Version 2.0 Beta 7, with SmartPropoPlus (newest version off their site).

Any suggestions?

That happens to me as well. Some don't work and some do. I'm not sure why but look around and you'll find some more that work.

We've answered this question before if you search the forums.

Please uninstall version beta 7 and install alpha 8.5. The new .par file in version 8 does not work with version 7 while Version 2.8.5 works with both .par files.

FMS 2 alpha 8.5 has better flight physics, ground handling, wind and multiple collision points. Flying the newer models is much closer to reality.
