Assigning Material Types in Metasequoia

Assigning Material Types in Metasequoia

Postby Scott Crownover » Fri Oct 05, 2007 8:54 am

Hi all,

I'm just getting going with this software. I have two Objects meshed out (Fuse and Nose), and am wondering how to assign Materials(or is this important). The plane is a Blanik L13, so all aluminum/grey. I would also like to know how to make the canopy a transparent one (aside from leavin it off). I am curremtly using Ver 23b-2 cause that 's what is avialble on the Meta site. I also have Ver 23b in case.

Thanks!

Select the material type you want to use.

Then select the Object or Objects you want to apply the material to.

Under the [Selected] menu item use the [set material to faces] item.

Clear glass material is usually white or green with the material transparency or "alpha" channel set to how transparent you want the material. 100 not transparent, 50 half transparent, 0 can't see it.

Then apply that material to the faces as mentioned above.
